

Mitra Khodadadi, an Iranian music theorist, pianist, and educator, is currently a second-year master's student at McGill University, specializing in music theory. Her research centers on contemporary compositions influenced by the cultural identity of women composers, advocating for their recognition in their own era. Dedicated to the cause, her thesis focuses on the works of four contemporary women composers, aiming to shed light on their artistic contributions.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Mitra is passionate about teaching piano to individuals of all ages and currently works as a piano instructor at Harmony Academy of Music in Montreal. Mitra believes in the transformative power of music for everyone. She strives to make music accessible to people from diverse backgrounds, fostering a love for music regardless of age or experience.
