

Biography
Mitra Khodadadi was born in 1999 in Tehran, Iran, in a Zoroastrian family and is a native of Iran. She started playing the piano at the age of 4 with Shohreh Ghajar. Mitra worked with different instructors such as Homayoun Aramfar and Sara Laimon. She has participated in many music festivals and won several prizes. Mitra also started taking voice lessons in 2021 and is currently covering nostalgic Iranian songs.
Mitra Graduated highschool with Math Diploma from Saba School and change her major to fine arts for her pre-university. She studied Art history, Drama, Film history, Painting Analysis, and more for a year at "Midia Arts Institution." She got accepted at McGill University in 2018 and is studying piano and minoring in theory and music education since. Mitra was awarded three scholarships during her studies. She won a "Fine Arts and Performing Arts" scholarship because of her choral composition on a Gatha's Hymns.
In the summer, Mitra volunteers for Zoroastrian Students Association in Iran; she helps her community keep their traditions alive. She is currently the VP External at Music Undergraduate Students' Association at McGill. She has always been an active young individual and believes that life is not only about going to a university but experiencing different positions and participated in various activities.
Mitra has tried different things and is passionate about Fine arts as well as music. She has performed in many Drama competitions and participated in photography contests. She mostly takes self-portraits and naturalistic pictures.
Mitra is most passionate about working with children and bring music to their life. She has been a private instructor for five years and has worked in different music schools but preferred to work privately. She believes that time is flexible for each child, and it depends on how much they need to be helped.
